AlienHost 2.0

As many of you might have already heard. We have been working on a new major overhaul of all of our systems within AlienHost. We are happy to inform that we are about to exit testing phase and soon schedule a date for the migration of 2.0

As of now, we would like to share some major changes from our changelogs, please note that all these changes are still subject to change they are not yet final as well as full changelog will be published once the update is live.

Changes:

• Change of Payment Handler, we are sorry to inform you that we will be moving away from Stripe in favor of Paddle. As a result, we will only be accepting Cards and PayPal.
• Change from inclusive to exclusive tax-model.
• Change in prices for all services, clients that have service with us prior to this update will be unaffected by this price change beside the tax-model change
• New Incidents Page, here you can now monitor and see the status of all our Systems as well as services.
• Upgraded Infrastructure, we've worked hard to deliver the new 2.0 infrastructure to ensure even better quality and stability of our Systems.
• Upgraded DDoS Protection, stability have been improved even more, less ping thanks to our new Anycast system.
• Updated Ticket System within Discord, as always we strive to provide the best quality support to our clients, hence why we improved the way Tickets are created and handled.

• • New AutoPay Subscriptions, you will now be able to create subscriptions for your plans so they get auto-renewed, so you don't have to manually extend your server anymore
• • New billing cycles, Monthly, Quarterly, Biannual, Annually (all current clients will be automatically assigned to Monthly option, the option is NOT changeable once selected)
• • New Split Manager, until now only our Premium Clients had this option, we are happy to inform you that now everyone have it, of course there will be new limits for both Shared and Dedicated clients.
• • New Core Manager, new and improved version of our current Egg Changer.
• • New Workshop (Plan Edit), clients will now be able to upgrade and downgrade their servers themselves through our panel within our Billing Hours, as a result of that we will no longer be handling any kind of upgrades or downgrades manually.
• • New Termination System, formerly known as refunds we will be updating our Terms of Service to fit the new system - clients will now be able to terminate their servers within Billing Hours and get the remaining value of their service. As a result of that, we will no longer be offering in-wallet refunds within 72 hours of their server purchase and clients will be able to terminate their servers every day whenever they choose and get the remaining value of their servers back to their AlienHost Wallet.
• • New Hybrid Payment system, clients can now choose to pay directly at checkout via Paddle, use in-wallet funds or do a mixture of both directly at our website.

• • • "Use Balance First" - Option to choose whether you want to first use the balance of your Wallet and then pay the remaining value (if not enough) of your purchase via Checkout, or just opt directly for full checkout.
• • • "Marketing Emails" - Option to choose whether you want to receive marketing emails from us with discounts and offers.
• • • New Two-Factor Authentication System
• • • New Discord Webhook Notifications system - receive notifications within Discord alongside our Emails for maximal awareness.
• • • New Payments Portal, manage your subscriptions, payment methods and manage your Payment preferences directly at Paddle
